    nocturnal emissions

  • Treatment
    Previous Treatment:

Earlier letter to Sloane must have miscarried as he did not receive a quick response.

    Ongoing Treatment:

He was taking electuary twice a day but it made the night-time "pollutions" worse, so he reduced it to once a day. Sloane also noted the next prescription in the margin, which was another electuary (in Latin abbreviations).

    Response:

He was much the same (constant gleet/genital discharge), though once he took the treatment once a day the "pollutions" were less frequent. After the pollutions he felt weak.
