Diagnosis
Did not believe that matter he voided previously was congealed blood, but fancied it came from his left kidney (where he had pain). Neighbours believed it was an ulcer in the kidney (though he had not seen any ulcerous matter).

Treatment
Previous Treatment:
Ongoing Treatment:Bath water since June 21. Has assumed that all the prescribed remedies sent by Mr Sheibel were only to be taken if pain returned (except the electuary). This included: clyster, pills, diacodium, laudanum, sweet almond oil, lemon, marshmallow syrup.
Response:No pain since first letter or bloody urine/stone since second letter. Still voiding some gravel. Still internal discomfort, but not worried by it. Neighbours suggested he try Bristol waters. He wondered as well if nearby wells (similar to purging nature of ones at Epsom and Stretham) would be helpful.
