Lennard informs Sloane that he would like his daughter buried ‘in the place where I designe to lie my self’. He acknowledges, however, that the grave next to his ought to be reserved for his wife. He solicits Sloane’s advice. Lennard’s daughter is to be ‘buried at Avely’ in the family vault. Dacre Barrett Lennard (d. 1733) was a Fellow of the Royal Society. He was elected in 1705 and served on the Council in 1713 and 1716 (https://collections.royalsociety.org/DServe.exe?dsqIni=Dserve.ini&dsqApp=Archive&dsqCmd=Show.tcl&dsqDb=Persons&dsqPos=2&dsqSearch=%28Surname%3D%27barrett%27%29).
