Hunt has moved the papers and books, found the keys, and closed up, as Mr Waller has left. Sloane need not look for them anymore. Henry Hunt (d. 1713) came to work for the Royal Society in 1672/3. He worked as an assistant to Robert Hooke and was appointed Operator in 1676. He was was designated Keeper of the Library in 1696 and then Keeper of the Repository and Housekeeper (Sir Henry Lyons, FRS, The Royal Society, 1660-1940: A History of its Administration under its Charter (Cambridge: Cambridge University Press, 1944), 142).
