Previous Treatment:
Mr. Walpole took bark and bitters to help with a fever, upset stomach and loss of appetite. He first took bitters recommended to him by a friend, the later a different bitter using salt of wormwood.
Ongoing Treatment:
Response:He found the saffron in the first bitters "offensive" and preferred the wormwood one. The Bark agreed better.
