Ruysch proposes the continued exchange of materials between himself and Sloane. He sends anatomical drawings. Sloane had sent Jamaican plant specimens. Ruysch is happy to send any plant specimens Sloane might want from Holland. Frederik Ruysch was a Dutch botanist and anatomist who came to prominence for his study of the lymphatic system. He preserved many of his anatomical specimens, some of which were human, and his collection of curiosities was visited by the likes of Peter the Great (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frederik_Ruysch).
