  • Description
  • Diagnosis

Vomiting (sour, green, and not hot -- nor was it what he had eaten at lunch); loose stool; cold fits/agues.

  • Treatment
    Previous Treatment:

Taking airs; 3-4 spoonfuls of canary (with water).

    Ongoing Treatment:

Unnamed pills (up to a dozen at a time; as many as he can keep down without vomiting); Sloane's 'water'.

    Response:

The water and pills appear to be working; cold fits are no longer accompanied by shaking, and the patient now sleeps through them; he is able to eat more (although still no flesh).
