Leigh has a small, but choice, collection for Sloane. His brother may be contacted at Squire’s Coffeehouse. Leigh will publish his Appendix at Christmas and asks Sloane to aid in the recruitment of subscribers. Leigh was a physician and naturalist. He was elected a fellow of the Royal Society in 1685 (C. W. Sutton, Leigh, Charles (16621701?), rev.
