Bonnivert encourages Sloane to collect the interest owed on the debenture bonds. The Duke of Ormond was very civil and assured Bonnivert he will help. Bonnivert discusses architecture in Limerick and some curious plants he observed. He describes the Bristol stones he found and the plant samples he dried. Bonnivert informs Sloane of his recent brush with French privateers. Lieutenant Gedeon Bonnivert was the son of Paschall and Judith Bonnivert of Sedan in Champagne.
