Chamberlayne hopes that Sir Isaac Newton’s proposal to hold meetings in Crane Court promoting ‘Xian Knowledge’ will be presented at the Royal Society’s next Council meeting. John Chamberlayne was a translator and editor specializing in modern languages which he studied at the University of Leiden.
