Cooper sends a box of goods on behalf of Mark Catesby, who has traveled ‘a considerable way back into ye Country’. He and Catesby plan on traveling through ‘the Spanish west Indies’. They would like Sloane’s opinion of such an endeavour. Cooper requests that Sloane procure a pass for them to travel in Spanish lands. He has written to Dr Mead requesting the same thing.
