Smallpox. Died of the second fever.

Ongoing Treatment:Had recently had plaister applied to scrotum by a physician, which the surgeon did not know about.
Response:Disagreement whether patient's clap had been cured or whether it was the cause of his death. Fever appeared day after plaister applied. Swelling in scrotum had been relieved by the time the surgeon saw it a few days later.
