Preston informs Sloane that the Catalogue is almost complete and that he will send him a copy as soon as it is done. Preston writes that Mr Martin will be coming to London. Preston was a physician and botanist who established a lengthy correspondence with Sloane, exchanging plants, seeds, books and information.
