Copley asks Sloane to see if Mr Smith picked up the letter left for him at the Temple Coffeehouse before leaving for France. Copley discusses the anatomical anomalies of two of his sheep. Sir Godfrey Copley was a politician and active member of the Royal Society. He was elected a Fellow of the latter in 1691 (C. I.
