Sherman informs Sloane that he can do what he wants with the account of the calf bones found in a dead cow’s uterus. He asks that it be understood that he only described it, since he does not know enough about dissection to create an anatomical model. While Sloane thinks the foetus was very young, Sherman believes it was nearly fully developed. Bezaleel Sherman was a surgeon.
