Robinson and Franckland have delivered Sloane’s letters to Baglivi. He thanks Sloane and the Royal Society for their interest in his work and offers to send a new treatise on eye diseases. Giorgio (Gjuro) Baglivi (1668-1707) was an Italian physician and scientist. He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1698.
