Zwinger is interested in botany, animal life, and minerals. He considers Sloane a great resource for learning about these things. Zwinger offers catalogues from Switzerland. His son is writing a catalogue of plants and stones found around Basel, following Tournefort’s method. Zwinger would like to get these catalogues exposure in France, England, Belgium, and Germany. He offers copies of the catalogues to Sloan and will send medical treatises when the opportunity arises. Theodor Zwinger was a physician.
