Sibbald thanks Sloane for getting 12 people to subscribe to his book. He tells Sloane that he does not generally lend his antique books for fear of them being separated from his collection, but he may lend them to Sloane in the near future. Sibbald requests the addresses of those who ordered his book. Sibbald was a physician and a geographer. He was physician to James VII (Charles W. J.
