[fol. 318] Sr. There being an order of the College of Physician for my admission as fellow on monday next i thought it my duty to come and pay you my respects I remain Sr. Your most humble and obedient servant GL Teissier April 8 1720

George Louis Teissier (d. 1742) was a German-born physician. He was physician to George I and George II as well as Westminster Hospital from 1728 to 1733. He also worked at St George’s Hospital and to Chelsea Hospital.
