Skinner thanks Sloane for writing his prescription. He sends a description ‘of a most celebrated Peice, or Picture to be sold [in Brussels], represent: the Conversion of Saul made by Raphael Urbina’. The painting was bought by an Englishman for ‘5000. pistols’. The piece had belonged to Skinner’s friend. It was described by ‘the Directeur of the Academie of Anvers […] in two Languages flemish and French’.
