William North (1678-1734), 6th Baron North, 2nd Baron Grey of Rolleston, and Jacobite Earl North was an army officer. He married Maria Margarette (1690?-1762) in 1705, the daughter of Holland’s treasurer. He was involved in Jacobite plots after the South Sea Bubble crash (Lawrence B.
