Fol. 242 Soon after you went wee discover’d on dressing him some red blotches upon which wee sent for Mr Gainier [?] who says possibly it may be a rash. Henry Herbert (1689-1750) was 9th Earl of Pembroke and had a keen interest in architecture. Upon George I’s accession Herbert was appointed Lord of the Bedchamber to the Prince of Wales. He was also close to George II (T. P.
