Transcription
Sherard asks Sloane if he is familiar with Dr Areskin, who worked at ‘Duberney’s house’. Areskin has taken anatomical courses in London and wants to wait on Sloane. Sherard inquires as to whether Dr Hooke will deliver his lecture, as he was sick for some time before. Sherard was a botanist and cataloguer. He worked for the Turkish Company at Smyrna where he collected botanical specimens and antiques (D. E.
