[fol. 160] Sir My Countryman having told me he found this morning one of his Shamoys dead, I advised him to ask you if you had a mind to have it skinn’d, to put it among your Curiosities; As it is of no value at all to him, he don’t desire any thing for it: he only hopes yt it should be in your way Sir, to give him an advise about the remaining alive one, you would favour him with it: I am Sir Your most humble & most obedient servant J Peter Stehelin; Minister of ye French Chappel on Hammersmith. John Peter Stehelin (d. 1753) was Minister of the French Chapel at Hammersmith.
