Teissier asks Sloane to meet him at Gilles’s coffee house this morning at eleven o-clock or to let him know what time works best. He adds that he hopes Dr. Hallings will meet them there also. George Louis Teissier (d. 1742) was a German-born physician. He was physician to George I and George II as well as Westminster Hospital from 1728 to 1733. He also worked at St George’s Hospital and to Chelsea Hospital.
