Steigertahl received Sloane’s last letter and ‘les Transactions No 418 419 et 420 avec No 411’ by Mr Jäger. He hopes the others arrive soon. Steigertahl is sure the King will be in Hanover soon and that Jäger will find someone in his suite to give him orders. He is glad the ‘Commercium literarium de Nurenberg’ reached Sloane. Steigertahl hopes that Sloane will find a moment to meet with Mr Wiedler. He discusses the list of ‘Membres des Etrangers’ in the Royal Society. He was happy to learn that ‘Mr. Stanly’ and his family are doing well. Johann Georg Steigertahl (1666-1740) was the personal physician to George I of England.
