William Aglionby (c. 1642-1705) was a diplomat and physician. He worked in the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, France, and Switzerland. Aglionby was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1667.

Porter Chaplin (d. 1719) was the son of John Chaplin. He married Anne Sherwin, the daughter of Richard Sherwin. He lived in Tathwell, Lincolnshire (George Edward Cokayne, editor, The Complete Baronetage, 5 volumes (no date (c. 1900); reprint, Gloucester, U.K.: Alan Sutton Publishing, 1983), volume V, page 31).
