I was lately at Orset, & find the Repairs
well done, & some holes in the Thatch of the
Barn mended. So that I believe the Houses
are all in good repair now. But your Spy
tells me yt Culverwell hath this winter carried off se-
verall Loads of Pease & Oat Straw to his o-
ther Farm of so much Dung. But how you can
tell Culverwell of this without involving our
Spy deserves consideration. If you sent your servt
thither to view the Land sowed, & to miss the Straw
yt grew thereon the thing might be done.
I have here sent you the 3 books of Mr Boyles
(wth my many thanks) wch I borrowed, & wch are all
I had except Hakewill, wch is too large to be so
soon dispatched. It shall be used wth as much safety
as if it lay in yr Library, & soon returned. I
beg the favr of you to Lend me by this Messenger Huygens, Cosmo-
theoros, having a present occasion to consult it. I could
not buy the Latin one when I was in town, else I would
